It’s her father. Who is not right in the head. He’s 74. I’m not chancing anything.

That you and her are square is the important part.

Not the same because I was always welcome in his house but I had a father in law who had Alzheimer's for a few years and would say/do things he clearly did not mean.

I understand. I have a friend whose Dementia caused irrational behavior including telling people to leave at random times. It was a bit annoying, but his current state of not interacting with anyone is much more saddening.

The old him is gone never to return.

My sympathy to your wife and her family.

I poked my head in here in time to read this. So sorry to hear. My MIL suffered from dementia just recently , and it’s truly an insidious disease . Hoping for the best :fingerscrossed:

Well... didn't get to ride today...
But, Stupid Duty is mobile... so...
Concrete guy came, and we are putting a plan together for the garage/shop/barn, few hurdles to navigate, but.... will be worth it. Doubt I'll have any progress before spring...

On the other hand... all the B/S... after a drive.. WORTH IT. Easier to steer with 12.5 wides on pavement, than the Tacoma is now in the dirt...

Need to swap a 90 for a 45, and clean up hose routing...

Wish I had a shop for the winter and could make progress skirting this flatbed this winter... but...

Maybe a shot of the completed truck later...

In most cases, I doubt you’d even notice it being installed. It’s a light truck with independent front suspension, it doesn’t need a steering stabilizer unless you’ve done some other serious mods that impact handling (in which case I’d still say it’s not needed, it’s just a band aid, masking another issue in most cases). I wouldn’t consider one unless you’ve really up sized your tires, like 35” + or gone with a solid axle up front.
