So far so good with the orzo. Lots of stirring. House smells freaking amazing with all of the garlic and tomato aromas
Also @Beef Nachos orzo package, it's small, only about 1.5 cups. Well see how it holds up in the sauce

Great thread I just found. Will take some time to go through, but my wife and I are GF, so I’ll contribute some of my favorites as I can.

    3.5/5 stars
probably should have left the asparagus on its own. i threw it in with the orzo and it kinda overpowered everything else in there. my bad.
should have cut the recipe in half. tons of leftovers and according to the original blog post its not great as leftovers so TBD there.
still good. not a super wow flavor like i was expecting - more of a mellow, savory, cheesy flavor.
also might not put as much cream in if i do it again - more broth less cream might make it a winner.
perfect with the browned (in butter, garlic, white wine) chicken but i think it could be good with a nice grilled steak too.

will make again. probably 1/2 it. and mess with the broth/cream ratio.

dinner tonight. SUPER easy - i think i had dinner done in 25 minutes and that included making rice and steaming veggies separately. the sauce got all gooey within a minute of it hitting the pan and had to come off the heat ASAP. pretty tasty. 5/5 for easy weeknight meal, will make again

I used San-J Tamari Soy sauce and Sun Luck Sesame oil - both GF

Looks good, I might have to give that one a whirl. I’ve never used flank for a beef and broccoli, always a sirloin or strip.

Pumpkin Pie and Kentucky Chocolate Pecan Pie - both with homemade GF crust. This is my contribution for turkey day feast!

@MTgirl - here you go. I use Cup4Cup’s recipe. Have been using it for years. The only thing I wish was different with this recipe was being by weight rather than cups. I find the dough to be a little dry at times and I don’t use it enough to try and figure out what a great conversion would be. But, regardless, the taste is wonderful. I’ve made this before for people that don’t know the different between GF and non-GF.

We're trying Bob's red mill pie crust mix tonight. It looked nice and flaky when it came out of the oven, but we'll see how it holds up.

Just made a box of gluten-free stuffing for the SIL. Stove Top it ain’t.

However, the report on Red Lobster gluten-free Cheddar Bay biscuits is extremely favorable. Came out really well - and they don’t taste like warm cardboard. Win!!

We had those last night! They're great. One of the few times when I appreciate the all-too-familiar gluten free crumbly texture.

I make my stuffing from scratch-ish
whole loaf of Udi's diced up
rosemary, thyme, sage, black pepper, poultry seasoning. i dont really measure just kinda go with my gut
about two cups of sauteed celery and onions
    some chicken broth
only have one oven so all of that fits into a loaf pan and that tucks into the roasting pan with the turkey
