What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Did you replace the tweeters as well or just the bottom door speakers?

 

Ordered the accessorides 2way auto start kit, and diode dynamics SS3 fog light kit! Should be getting it all installed this weekend.

 

Installed Fiberwerx carbon fiber fenders

 

I have got to do the same. Anybody know if they'll reinstall three leaf add a leafs?

 

How much did those set you back?

 

I bought them from a buddy who went back to stock for $700 but I think retail is either 1100 or 1400 and that’s not including shipping

No, found a company on Etsy lol. Fits nice and looks good and for $15 can't complain. And not sure it was in the box with the fob kind of cool though.

That is some really bad printing to be be selling... They really need to finetune their printer/settings lol

If you printed that yourself, that's fine because 3D printing takes lots of time and effort to make nice prints. But if you sell that quality??

 

Depends on the dealership I think, I know some will but others may not. If management tells you no ask the technician if you can slip him a $20 and have him install it.

 

Poor man's lift and did the Fluid Film treatment on the frame and parts...

 

I don't mind it. I actually bought it for that look. It's light weight and looks cool to me lol.

Yeah, printed parts are very light weight.
Looks like he/she needs to calibrate their first layer. On their site, they show the parts printed upwards, but the actual prints are printed face down.

 

I literally ordered this yesterday, and in almost the same color option. Was just thinking my alt-j case is showing its age and i came across this one. How long did it take to receive after you ordered?

 

fortunately, i have 3 other vehicles that have fobs, lol......flip keys, combo keys, separate key and fob, touch handles.....all that new wave techy goodness. My Tacoma is not endowed thusly. Holdout from olden times.

 

Today I pulled the center console out to replace the mounting screws for my molle panels with nuts and bolts.

I got these from victory 4x4 about a year or so ago. They installed easy enough, with spacers and philips head screws. That worked alright, but once on a while the screws would pop out under pressure. Never felt really secure.


Heres the backside. Only 1/8th of an inch or so through.

So i replaced the hardware with black allen head bolts and lock nuts. I also replace the top spacer with a larger one to accomodate the notebooks I store there.



Here it is all back together, very sturdy now.
