just a couple of things tbh
Well after our talk of injuries I’ve been having complications with my wrist Monday I woke up to a good amount of pain and a really sore spot to the touch so I just tried not touching it well after a few days of work it started hurting with more movement and stretching out my fingers…. I then noticed I have a small lump in a location where one of my screws is towards the rear of my scar. Well fast forward to Wednesday I just got off work and had played raft for a bit with friends I then was chilling on the couch and my entire hand went numb and tingly… no reason I did nothing it just did it… took a bit but it went back to normal after 5mins? fast forward to Thursday my hand was still hurting but not numb and my sister joked with me and said it can’t hurt that bad and grabbed my wrist and it hurt so bad it felt like someone had hit my wrist as hard as they could do I had smack her hand away and pull my wrist back… today on Friday I still have pain and can’t do certain motions but it’s not as bad and the lump is still sorta their but not as bad so now I gotta wait till Monday to call my doc…

Has anyone else had an issue 8 months later with a plate and screws in you?

my left wrist had a surgery years back, bone grafting + metal hardware
i have pain that can last a few days if i aggravate it

at only 8 months my guess is you have a bunch of PT work you need to be doing to eventually have the pain will go away

Nice post turkey day ride here in central PA. If you buy a tree this close to Three Mile Island, do you need to put lights on, or will it glow in the dark on its own?

I’ve been doing my pt and it really doesn’t help me out sadly the problem is stuff that it never use to do like my whole hand going numb and having a random bump show up is unusual

I thought you were calling him crazy. Then I recalled the context of the conversation.

Walked into my dealer today to pick up some Triumph swag, and they didnt have what I was looking for. What they did have was two Tiger 850s adv tourer type bikes they didnt have when I came in looking for one and ended up buying the Tiger 660 Sport Tourer instead.

Good news: the orange color I liked online isn't as good in person.

The bad news: the red is WAY better than I thought it might be, and I've been thinking about it all day.

Nah, As much as I want to, I'd lose my ass on the trade so I'll ride and pay it down for a while.

I like my sport tourer bike, but I realize now that 4x4s and ADV bikes are where my heart lies.

    I realized that too.

also, passed the 1 year mark on owning the AT. Haven't gotten oil for it yet, but she's waiting patiently until its over 60 to ride again. I don't really have much more mods planned except riding. A semi-local friend has a windshield that I want, but other than that, nothing

I'm shocked she didn't tell you to rush to the ER. They do that all the time around here. Especially the Peds clinic.

Parent: "My kid has a temp"
Peds Clinic: Go to the ER....when they should ask...Have you given any tylenol or motrin to treat said fever? How long have they had the fever?

We had one bring in their 2 kids yesterday. One had a temp of 103.3 and when I asked if they had given anything for it...."No, we wanted you to see what she had". I told the kid(16yr old) to lay in the bed b/c their temp was dangerously high and the other one to sit in the chair........damn kid started crying and dad was pissed. I'm like dude, you haven't given anything since yesterday at 3p(was almost 24hrs prior). You have to treat fever every 4hrs and alternate b/t tylenol and motrin.

Sorry for the rant.........people make me sick

:anonymous: I feel attacked hahaha my wife got pissed at me last weekend because I had a 102.7 degree fever and hadn't taken anything. Took some tylenol and it went away. Stupid RSV crap that's going around, still coughing over a week later.
