Took advantage of the very nice PNW weather and installed my Alcan springs along with the Bilstein 5100s.

    Before and after comparison:

    Spring comparison:

The OEM-based springs were riding heavy:
    upload_2022-11-24_22-15-10.jpg

First side (RH) took a bit longer as I was figuring out the best step-by-step, LH side went smoothly.

A little test drive today, and OMGosh! what a ride difference. Even with my current load, this truck rides better than when I bought it. The Alcan HD paired with the Bilstein is so smooth. Here is a better comparison between now and when I first bought the truck.

Edit: and the bolts where to short for the rear, so I had to make a hardware run mid install. But it was 100% worth it.

Well... Took a test drive after I finished the body lift. Considering all my stock Body mounts worn out and ripped, I don't think I'm tripping out by thinking it actually rides better now, with the body lift.

    Bonus

I came to the conclusion I could use my old EFIE for the single upstream sensor as the downstream one is just for the catalytic. This was a big relief and I didn’t have to buy anything else. Installed and running now, have yet to do a long enough trip for mileage testing but my horsepower has noticeably increased based on the way it accelerates now.
    Current settings are:
EFIE: 200 milliamps offset (O2 sensor to computer)
    PMW: 10 A, 26.6% to 30% duty cycle, 13.4 V, 1008 kHz

I think I paid and $200 from wheelers, but it was probably 5 years ago.

Fixed what I think is the last oil leak from when I bought this thing a year ago. Valve covers, timing cover, front main, oil pump. Not sure there’s any gaskets even left besides the head gasket I haven’t replaced.

oil filter housing gasket it was really pushing oil out.

Replaced a broken chrome emblem on the passenger side. Also replaced the drivers side door handle. Previous owner had replaced with a chrome one. Now all four handles are the same.
