Saw a guy at the range today with an interesting AR bag/case. It was a double tennis racket bag. He had a few minor mods to stabilize them.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
That’s very cloak n dagger of him lol

I once turned an old retro Wilson golf bag into a drag bag of sorts. Was cool looking, but sadly wasn’t used. I gave it away to a friend:)

Was outfitted for an FAL sans mag.

Very discreet. He said "I leave it in my truck and nobody pays any attention".

I learned my lesson, not with a firearm but my senior thesis. I got a degree in 3D animation specifying in VFX for film. My dumb ass went to see my folks and got in very very late. Well I didn’t unpack my truck, as it was like 4am.
Next day I learned a hard lesson about 2 things: never leave anything of value you can’t easily replace; never keep your backups next to your originals.
What a dumbass I was, didn’t see it coming.

Anyone have an idea what dates are they processing NFA submissions? Last I read on reddit was around the third week of March?

Probably somewhere in that timeframe, I’m still waiting for a 4/28 submission to be approved.

Just picked this up from a co-worker. It had been sitting in his closet for about 12 years, given to him by a friend. Wanted me to go thru it and check it out. I gave it a good cleaning and took it to the range. The first shot it FTE, same with the second. Took it apart and the gas key was loose and not staked. Tightened it up and it shot great. Told him he needed to spend about $100 for a new BCG and he'd be GTG. Be didn't seem interested so I offered to buy it. It's not worth that much so I paid what I thought it was worth. I didn't need another one but I thought it was cool looking.
There's no markings on the barrel but it's a heavy profile. The lower is an Essential Arms J-15 which makes it pre-ban. Doesn't really increase the value though.

I picked up a Marlin 45/70 Gov Trapper in Stainless. Anyone have a company they recommend for a sling/strap?
    This is the model.

Last one I bought was a Vickers Tactical. Would like to get some opinions from others.
