Wife's uncle Bday tomorrow, and I recall him asking about my stick figure welded characters multiple times some months back.

Got him a bottle and made him a holder for it



Once paint dries, I'll attach those felt-pads that normally go on furniture feet to prevent scratching any surface.

My folks have the large Yukon one at their house and its great. They're having a good sale. I snagged a smaller version...which also came with a small tabletop one for free. A no-regret sort of purchase.

 

What a difference LED lights make. Still looking for the right ones for the climate control.

It's true of all the battery powered grinders anyway, they're all gutless and waste a ton of power. You need the balls of 120v unless you're just doing superficial shit

 

He's just had these welds and I think another set of welds laying around. And one saw blade wheel too. I know Hawaiians like this stuff, it's basically free with any shitbox truck you buy here, people haven't wanted welds since the early 90s.

I’m pretty happy with my 18v die grinder, but yeah you just can’t match the watts coming out of the wall. I figure it’ll be handy for a second grinder.

I really like the die grinders too, high RPM low load (or gear reduction) stuff is where brushless really shines
