Thanks...as great as it is to be on this side of the water it is a pain at times with either the ferry or the drive down thru Tacoma...
Hopefully we get more interest and we can set a place more central to all...

    suggestions?

For the cigar smokers. There’s Smokey Joes in Fife. There’s the new Nomad Overland store in Burien.

I’d be willing to meet either side but I do like the idea of an off-road related host/meeting place...

now how to best reach out to those who may be interested...btw: no need to have been a Vet to come and support them...sharing time and experiences will give you a new understanding and appreciation of them...

Not much of a club guy, but good luck to you all.
I live in central WA, on the border of the left part and the right part, which really sucks. Speaking to another person is not advised.
Veterans have nearly zero support of any kind. Unable to find help that can afford the rising cost of living, veterans clinics are barely functioning. There are a lot of veterans, others as well, who live and camp on public land by necessity, not for recreation.
    Have fun and stay safe.

Speaking on behalf of Smokey Joe’s; we welcome all vets and have regulars that frequent the lounge. Even though we aren’t an off road shop, let me know and we can definitely do a meetup.

Thanks Peter...it’s noted as a possibility...let’s see if we can get a few more interested before we decide what works best...appreciate the offer

Awesome thread. Can't wait for a meetup to happen and get out there with some fellow vets and smoke some meat and wheel.

    See you folks soon.

Just found this awesome thread. Currently based at King county. Interested in meeting up with more vets or non-vets. Maybe coming out for some BBQ and cups of drink. Is there a good way to hold everybody?

restarting this thread is a good start...I tried to put something together and had some roadblocks...just need someone to champion the idea, pick a place and drive it...in for the meet

Quite true. Personally thinking indoor activity might be a little better at this time. Snow, rain, wind etc. might be factors preventing going outside...

Is there a routine date and time? Saturday/Sunday afternoon? Something like that?

No nothing routine. Post up a weekend with a poll for Saturday or Sunday. Usually meet around 12. Have beers and lunch.
