On second thought, I'd classify myself as more of a hermit than a shut in, but I'm probably splitting hairs at that point. :)

    It's a beautiful day!

I don’t think you’re splitting hairs, it can be tough to narrow it down.

I always thought ‘hermits’ conjured more of a religious intent.

A ‘recluse’ sounds a bit too pretentious.

‘Shut in’ has just the right yankee pragmatism to tell it like it is.

    :D

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Lets not forget Hobbit I like that term.

Shut in sounds to me like your home just waiting for what comes next.

Thank you and I hope everyone had a great turkey day!
Had a good dinner at M-I-L's then just relaxed around the house and prepped a bunch of .223 brass.
Then yesterday I finally found enough enthusiasm to try out that 44 Magnum. Just six rounds started well below the max charge weight. I could hit the side of a barn for certain but will say that one is going to take much more practice and load development.
Think I'm going to head out in the yard and take care of some leaves one last time after getting on the roof and clearing gutters.
When that's finished I'll shoot six more rounds and clean out the copper fouling again. Looking down the bore with a flashlight it looks pretty darn rough given such a expensive piece. Colt name
Still not set back correct on my time but will get there.
    Hope everyone has great weekend.
