That was a shitty move by Reed. There is a time to block pass when you are really close, but he had to square off his entry and completely took a straight perpendicular shot at Stewarts exit line. Stupid move of desparation that would've been impossible to have had a good outcome. Only cost both of them several points.

No way man. We got all week to debate this. I'm not a huge fan of either racer. I was glad to see RV benefit from their dumbshit antics.

How about the lites class, seems like this year the east coast is more exciting and better stacked than the west.

It wasn't shitty on Reed's part. It was all or nothing and Reed went all in. With the experience those guys have racing each other at that level, Bubba had to have known Reed was going to come in and take that line from him.

What was shitty and dangerous was Bubba coming into Reed on that short straight in front of the mechanics area before the finish.

I hope so too... i really like his attitude and his clean racing. He is very consistent and i think that will pay off for him in the end. He is fast in outdoors and daytona is coming up... its gunna be interesting!

Yes you can deny he is a dirty racer. Did you see him getting pissed at Blose for going high and him being on the outside? No. Read that interview with Reed and Bubba. What do you think about Bubba landing on Ricky at Budds Creek back in the day? Bubba's dad was pissed at him or leaving the door open.

Dungey is a great rider but the kid has no aggression in him at all. Clean riding is one thing but seeing somebody fight for something is even better.

I just think it was a bad decision. Better to get 2nd than to crash and risk getting passed by several other riders and losing more points. Block passes are great and add excitement and physicality to the sport, but that was a blatant overly aggressive shot at his line with way too much obvious risk involved. A block pass should still take place when your arcing through a turn on the inside and you take convergent lines. That just didn't look like a rational move by a bright seasoned veteran. He let his emotions and the intensity of the last lap overpower good decision making. You'd never see Jeff Stanton, McGrath or RC pull that shit. That's why CR will never be one of the legendary greats, despite an impressive list of wins and titles.

Why was Bubba staring at his fender when he knew Reed would be there? It's very clear Bubba left the door open and Reed went in to shut the line down.

yeah it was Stewart's line. He had every right to be on the gas roosting outta the turn and Reed just comes in and blocks it, much different than angling into the line and getting your front end ahead to slam the door....
    Oh well, who cares anyway!
