I am having fueling issues. I have a new 265lph fuel pump and now a new pressure regulator installed. My injector duty cycle is 90% plus starting about 4500 rpms and up to 6000. The pressure was dropping off from 45 psi down to about 40, so i replaced the pump. still did it and replaced the pressure regulator. On a test drive after the regulator I watched the fuel pressure ( tee in the line under the hood) low speed on the pump was about 43-45psi, high speed and high load rpm it was about 48-50 psi. I did not notice the pressure dropping off, so i did a data log and still not good. There is no fuel filter installed. I have cam gears and full bolt ons. Im running a 2.7 pulley. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I still have to make time and check my fuel pressure at the frame rail by the tank, see if there is a restriction in the feed line. I do live at an elevation of 350 feet.
It seems odd that I would be maxing out injectors or fuel pump.

Edit: engine is bored .5mm over adding about 45-50cc to the displacement. Shouldn't have that big of effect though.

Might be worth testing the fuel pump resistor.. I think it's mounted by the driver side headlight on the fender. I am not sure what would be considered nominal readings, but someone like @Dm93 may be able to assist, he is very well versed in the electrics of these trucks.

At high pump speed it bypasses the resistor and runs straight battery voltage to the pump. It only under very high load this happens. It acts like fuel starvation and looks like it on the data logs.

It looks like the fuel pump and fuel pump relay are working correctly judging by the fuel pressure.

Don't alot of people that are boosted reference the fuel pressure regulator to boost pressure instead of atmosphere to give a fuel pressure increase under load?

I was told that I don't need to boost reference the pressure regulator based off my setup.

Boost referencing the FPR is common (and a good mod). Ideally it should be accompanied with a calibration update as the ECU has a specific table that scales fuel back under vacuum to compensate for the static fuel pressure. This needs to be adjusted when the fuel pressure is now lower when the engine is under vacuum.

But to his specific application/problem. There's no reason a 2.7" pulley should be seeing 90+% IDC without extensive mods or "high" RPMs. Generally a 2.5" pulley is about where the stock injectors are taxed like this.

I don't know I was just throwing that out there as I had seen it referenced several times.
There's quite a few people on here that know much more about supercharging than I do, I mainly focus on the electrical side and stock drivability.

Urd Headers install almost complete...I rerouted the harness for wideband in the engine bay so it will plug in to my wideband. Went to hook up urd y pipe to my cat back and they don't line up I can bolt it together but will not seal. I need the y pipe to go 1/4" towards the passenger frame. Now my question is can I get a 1/4" of lateral movement if I loosen all the bolts including the headers? I really don't want to tackle those things again once was torture enough lol. Picture is looking up at the connection from the ground

@novanut21 imo you could probably loosen the y pipes and slowly get that 1/4" lateral by tightening the catback side first. And having a second person give a little oomph to the catback for a little angle. The saving grace is that exhaust gasket is curved and most likely will still seal. If it were me I wouldn't touch the headers. Maintaining a better contact from exhaust manifold to the head is more important and more difficult to fix if you decide to loosen the whole system.

Such a dope color.. don't mind if I borrow it
