    next weekend. might do a real tree this year, haven't decided yet. i have a prelit fake tree but it takes me a whole day to fluff the branches back up. i could drive out, cut down a tree and have the lights on in less time :laugh:

    My knee replacement recovery is doing very well , I'm 4.5 weeks post op and with 2x's per day PT . I'm at 1° extension ( knee lays flat) at the knee joint . Knee flexion I'm currently at 107° which is exactly what my right knee is so I'm noticing it's getting easier to walk . A few weeks ago I couldn't get my l/ leg to keep from dragging on the floor

    As for the swelling I will more than likely need to get my knee drained as it's drainage from surgery . My next Ortho appt which is in a couple weeks at the VA I'll have it done then

    hope that takes care of it then - i'd imagine having all of the excess fluid in there is limiting your range of motion at this point. keep up the work on recovery and PT

    yes... my neighbor is a mechanic (retiring next month), used to work on a drag race crew as a hobby, always is the 1st to have xmas lights up, likes to fish and camp, everyone on the block thinks he's a grouchy old guy but he and i get along. he comes over to check on me if he sees me working on the trucks or camper, brings his snowblower over to help me dig out when the city crews bury me. its like our Mike was cloned! freaky! :eek:

    The Daytona Police dept has been very busy with traffic stops from car show participants during the 49th annual Turkey Rod run at Daytona Speedway

    One officer pulled over a Pro street pickup that did a massive burnout in front of the officer . As the crowd started to get larger the officer lost control of the scene and people started walking over the pickup and giving him money to cover the tickets he received

    While this was happening a Pro Street Camaro did another massive burnout
