Yeah same here. No road salt (well, super rare anyway) but next to the ocean.

 

Reason #467894523 to not buy a fix and flip house.


Motherfuckers bought a scratch and dent dishwasher, slapped some flex tape and epoxy on the crack and called it good. Doesn't leak so far, just doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies about running it when Im not home.

I was wondering how the cheapasses justified a nice maytag dishwasher when they cheaped out on literally everything else. Havent ran the dishwasher since I bought the house so didnt catch that one yet.

 

@Sebz13 This exactly, after every winter. We don't get a lot of salt in the Tahoe basen but do on the roads leading in and out of town.

 

Yeah our had painters tape painted over and now I can't remove the tape without ruining the paint on the wall

 

Took the dogs to the lake today. Way too many people out.

Sofia put her blanket on Simba this morning and was "reading" her book to him.



Used to be every morning she'd wake up and come into our room and wake us up, now she just goes straight into the living room and hangs out with Simba lol. Actually got to sleep in a little bit

We had a crazy warm week this week for the holiday, was like 84 on Thanksgiving ugh

I was putting decorations out today only to wonder "why the fuck am I hot"...was 68 but felt hotter

Can't imagine 84 fuck that

Will finish tomorrow morning

We are expecting rain next week so looking forward to that for sure

 

Yeah cooling down this coming week

Rebecca and Sofia are going up to visit her dad in a couple weeks, if we get snow in the mountains I'm gonna have to go up

 

Shit, forgot we have a dog now lol. He'd probably like a snow adventure but my truck will be super cramped for him

That's the one thing that's awesome about cats, need to leave town for 3-5+ days? Just leave out enough food and water and a couple clean litter boxes

 

That's a win win... She gets to read to the baby sitter and you get to sleep. How Is Simba doing? Is he a chill Lab?

We have some still in the yard but everything on the roads and in the sun is long gone. Looks like we are getting more in about a week.

 

So much easer... when we head to socal we leave them for a week and all is good.

Now to enjoy some food and drinks for Stephanie's uncle's Bday; shit ton of people showing up. Hope he likes the bottle holder I made him.

 

He's chill AF, still haven't heard him bark. Sofia and I walked him this morning and we got swarmed by a half dozen Chihuahuas and pugs out of one of our crazy neighbors houses, he literally just let them jump all over him and didn't act phased one bit.

He definitely shows his age in that he sleeps a lot, and is slow to get up (I feel that one) but he's always up for walks and the dog park, playing fetch in the backyard, etc.

 

Your cats were freaking incognito; forgot you even had any
