Vibration at 40mph

I have a 2013 2WD Tacoma Prerunner with 100k miles. Leveling kit mod. I am getting vibrations at 40mph. When I’m driving and push my shifter to the left to 4th gear the vibration goes away. I just put on new tires yesterday and it didn’t help.
I am posting again in hopes that someone has an idea of what it is since the vibration goes away in that 4th gear. Thank you

Couple questions:

1. Did the vibrations start once you installed the leveling kit? And if so, what does your specific flavor of leveling kit have?
2. How many miles on the truck?
3. Have you ever flushed or changed the trans fluid and/or filter?

I recall once upon a time reading a thread about shudder/vibration when the trans is locking up from 4th to overdrive which is why I ask about the fluid services. If you've never done that at 100k it might be worth doing anyways.

If none of that applies and it's a vibration that you believe is coming from a specific wheel then it might be a bearing or something else. Post more info, you might get more answers.

 

hey @wi_taco, the vibe did not start after the leveling kit was installed. I have 100k miles on the truck. I have not done the fluid change. To be honest I’m not the best diy mechanic. I only know the basics about trucks. I tried to put as much info that I could about the vibe. I will definitely check out the trans fluid and filter
