Love the support you guys have shown me, especially with all the dumbass questions I ask

But to support you guys is something I enjoy even more!

Thank you for getting a sign done for me @Wsidr1 !

Soon as I got home from getting Christmas lights (for the wife) I went straight to the garage to get this thing painted up

The clock is especially badass and I must say, I am familiar with German heritage myself! Lived in Frankfurt a good 6 years only to go back twice to visit.

Will be buying Langmuir's setup in a few months.

    Thanks!

It was a challenge building my own from the ground up. It forced me to become more computer literate.

I have no issue with those buying a pre built unit ...as long as you have computer skills going into the purchase. Even then, learning what you need to make it run is only a few YouTube vids away.

Welcome to the club. Jump on in. The water is great!

    Soooon!

Just sold one of my rifle lowers today so that cover the entire cost; just need to sell some ammo to cover the add-on height control, extension, and water table.

I've only heard positive things so the extra it costs seems worth it.

Glad the drop in-water table isn't much either.

The water table is a must. It really saves you money in the long run.

I pick up dead appliances. The washers, dryers, stoves really make cheap supplies for practice cuts. Unfortunately, they are always painted. The plasma shoots the fumes into the water tray. There is very little smell/ smoke. That's a win for the water table.

When I'm done with the practice, the pieces go back into the appliance and I set it out to the road and let some other scrapper pick up my metals.

    Niiice!

I'm fortunate enough in that I can buy 1/4" plate, 5' by 2' for about $50-60.

The thin stuff is only cheaper; just need to find appropriately sized pieces that'll fit in my vehicle cause they won't cut it down for me :bananadead:

Started tacking this up, and realized It has been awhile an I have lost my touch. So taking a break before I mess things up. later will dig out some scrap and lay some practice beads. right now dealing with a company who had the items I ordered in stock, part of the order never got ship and now there is as a 20 to 30 week backlog on the missing item,( that there site said had in stock with 60+) rendering the entire order worthless until then.

Been about a 2 years, little hand eye coordination issue, plus bad light didn't help. I should break down an buy a MIG unit , but I find TIG to be a bit relaxing when I am in the right mood. and very frustrating when not. I realized that I Needed to just stop and regroup before I mess up an expensive bumper kit.

It was Bilstein rear shocks, turns out the IT guy screwed the pooch and the sales guy had a IDGAF day and never verified inventory, got a different guy today while trying to track the missing item down and the messed up shipping address ( wrong zip code entered by sales guy), he got it taken care of by replacing it with a a different model, but one that will actually work better for my needs, and they where cheaper... win - win

Interesting I also find Tig relaxing.

I keep saying I need to practice it has been a very long time .

It should come back quick make some practice joints it should come back faster it tends to for me.

Glad your parts order was able to get worked out.
