Real glad I didn’t ride in today.. roads were fine this AM, not sure what they’re like after getting a couple inches of heavy snow throughout the day.

It sounds to me like your doc's office did the right thing if it's not emergent. People forget the meaning of "Emergency" when an Emergency Room is involved
That's a lot of cocaine

Don't mind me.....I'm just jaded b/c I see how people treat this place like a primary care.....and then turn around and bitch about wait times

We see close to 100 pts a day out of a 10 bed ER and most are non-emergent. Double edged sword b/c without the pts.....we'd lose staff :D

I do think that if you're hand isn't turning blue or staying numb......it can be handled in the office or outpatient.

yup that is true ill admit thou the first er i went to when i had my accident the wait time was pretty nuts especially since some dude in front of me had part of a saw in his head and he was bleeding pretty badly and they just came over and gave him more of the wrap stuff and said we will see you in 5mins like bro the old man looked dead... so i called my buddy and he got me out of that place and i went to the hospital im with now and i was in and out within 30mins to an hour

Thinking early May, my dad and I are talking about trailering the bikes up, once we get to section two of the MA BDR we will spend the night, take the bikes up to the intersection of the BDR and 250, and then ride 250 over to Madison, and my Mom and my Wife will bring the vehicle and trailer up to meet us.

Still working on the final plan.

    TAT is transamerican trail: https://www.transamtrail.com/
    [IMG]

    Current BDR's are:

    Washington
    Oregon
    Idaho
    Colorado
    Wyoming
    Utah
    Southern California
    North East
    Mid Atlantic
    Nevada
    New Mexico
    Arizona

Backcountry Discovery Routes are set up by a non-profit company, not sure who administers the TAT, and come out with a new route usually annually. They typically run the entire length or width of the state or region they're in and are straight line routes. They started coming out with BDRX routes that are round trip circular ones.

    https://ridebdr.com/

I had plans to do the WABDR about 4 years ago with a buddy from high school, but he ended up having a kid two weeks before we were supposed to leave. Whomp whomp. Haven't made it back out to do one yet, but I'd still like to do WA, ID, and OR in that order.
