AJT Design Oversized Cup Holder

Someone should make one that holsters a couple Glocks, forget the cup holder!

 

What do you think, could probably stuff 3 maybe 4 in there? Maybe angle them outward for the knob

you didn’t have this gap grow by installing the cup holder did you? It seems it’s thick and clearances are super tight. The red clips went from being in the middle of the slot to barely fitting once I put pressure backwards

 

Is this one also only for the automatic?

That’s not because of the cup holder. Somethings just not lined up properly. Get all the clips lined up before you snap any of them back into place. Also, make sure the little wires aren’t pinched on the passenger side.

 

No, mine gap is the same as before. Did take a bit of fidgeting to get it to fit back in though. I think I started at the back and worked my way forward.

 

Yea I started in the back. The cup holder hits the plastic bar that runs across so it pulls it forward. I did this like 3 times some with the stock cup holder back on each with the same result. Stock cup holder allowed it to fit in much easier. Even loosened the screw on that plastic bar and pulled it back per the z precision install video. I had to have it lined up because there’s guide pins in the back and I clipped in that corner first

if anyone thinks about getting the AJT design one to save money I think youre making a mistake. It fits larger bottles but that makes it too big and not fit well imo

Did you unscrew and slide the bar back like it said to? Here's how my mine looks with the AJT cup holder. Just like it did stock.

 

Thanks for providing a photo. Yea I did but it only moves back the center. The sides are connected and it was making contact across the whole bar pretty much. Just wasn’t close enough to try and mess with things. In fact before and after I moved that back it fit pretty much the same

I’m not sure what’s going on but it was off about 1/4” still. Glad it worked for you. I’ve found other things that don’t fit my truck too so maybe my truck is just weird. Was one of the early Mexico ones after moving all production there and they have made slight tweaks 2020, 2021, and 2022 model years

 

Installed the Z as well. Fit and finish are great and very easy install. Just need to make sure everything snaps back in place.

 

So quick question about these. How does smaller cups fit now?t Too loose? I have several cups that fit ok now.

 

I like how it makes both cup holders useless. Weird angle too!

 

AJT cup holder fits in perfectly. Finally my Nalgene won’t roll around everywhere. Glad I found it at an affordable price.

 

Any issues fitting the console back on as someone reported above in this thread? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this AJT since it's much cheaper than the Z Precision one. But I just want to make sure everything fits back correctly.

 

Not at all. It all clipped it pretty easily. Looks factory.
