we should plan a trip in march????

 

I was up there, with my buddy in a TJ Rubicon, we did the whole loop to the 138. Had to air down at the top, the snow was deep. Fun day.
I was really impresed with the A-TRAC, it seemd that even the steepest of hills, the slower the better, the Taco just kept climbing.

 

Did you start the trail early in the morning??? Because i saw a Magnetic Gray that wasnt you was it???

 

No, we rolled up at 10am, I was looking for anyone in a Tacoma. In fact only saw other Jeeps, and one FJ.

 

ok i rolled up their at like 1:30 ish.

 

did any of you guys hit up Cleghorn on sunday? I did, and I seen a few other people, saw a few people on quads, a Land Rover and a Silverado tried climbing the bypass by the Edison towers and he couldn't even make it. As soon as he pulled to the side I did it on the first try, in soggy ass mudy conditions

At first I was trying to hit up Lytle Creek but the road was closed at the end near the shooting range there was two signs saying "Road Closed" I was gonna go around but some lame douche bag was blocking and he didn't wanna move, it's ok cause there was too many idiots there playing in the snow anyways, so I headed over to Cleg

 

ON my way to cleghorn pass. My baldy on sunday.... man it was awesome.

 

Why is that still close anyway?? I went there 3 weeks ago and it was closed.

 

Not sure but Im thinking because of the recent snow, they probably know people will try and run the trail and most will likely get stuck. I found a way to go around but it looked kind of sketchy, might go check it out again this weekend. If no ones around I might just go around the sign and check it out, whos down ?
