Just got my AT3's mounted a week or 2 ago. 265/75R16, load range C. Got them from Tire Rack in New Castle, DE. They replaced a set of Toyo AT2's, same size and load range. Initial impression is the Coopers are way more quiet. The Toyos we're always surprisingly loud. 3 of the tires took 2 or 3 oz, one of them took 8. That was disappointing but I had heard Coopers tend to take a lot of weight. Havent put many miles on them yet as I'm working through some wonky alignment issues after hammering my truck out west.

I had the AT3 LT 265/65/16 on my truck's first 35k miles and they were amazing . I just recently updated my tires to 285 KO2's and it's definitely slushy and noisy compared to the Cooper AT3.

KO2: good for mud and looks.
AT3: wins in every other category; dry traction, snow, ice, sand, breaks and bend nails before it punctures the ply.

Did anyone go with 295/75/16 over 285/75/16 or wish they had?

Still prefer these over the wildpeaks? Curious because I'm on the fence between 265/75 Falken Wildpeak or 285/75 Cooper XLT. Thank you!

Well I know it’s been a while since I bought these at3 LT to replace my wildpeaks, but I finally got them mounted up and able to run them and test. So far on road they’ve been pretty good. I don’t notice anymore noise compared to the wildpeaks. They do feel a bit firmer since they are a bit heavier and stiffer being a C load range, but I like it. Off road so far they did good on trail roads and some woods trails and mud. Overall happy with them so far!

Any updates? How are you liking them on road and off-road. Better than ko2?

Just picked up my Tacoma. Coopers were put on in 2019, so I'm guessing they are the newer style. Unfortunately, the previous owner never thought to get an alignment or rotate tires, so the fronts are completely shot on the inside tread (nearly cords showing) while the outside tread is nearly new. Backs are perfect. Tires only have about 10,000 miles on them. What a shame and a waste. I'll be getting two new tires soon and, of course, an ALIGNMENT. (Need to do research, but asking here for any helpful tips. Just got truck. Have driven it 3 miles) - What front end parts (ball joints, control arms etc) would I be looking to replace at 88K miles? Truck is 2003 pre ext cab. Might need to address that before installing new Coopers (just to get back on track of the thread)

    Many thanks.

Cooper At3-4S are excellent tires even the people at our local tire shop recommend them when I was prepared to buy BFG all terrains that cost more! they said to go with the coopers because they wear better more even and cost less and they were right 3 years later they wear really good because I am terrible about tire rotations.

I've got the KO2's and they look great. About 15,000 miles on them so far and they are starting to be really terrible in the wet PNW rain. The traction on wet roads is absolutely scary. Probably getting these things off the truck soon.

I live in the same region. This was concern of mine as well. Went with the Toyo AT3's instead.

Thanks for the input , I was thinking of going with k02's this time but I think I will stay with the Coopers because honestly I can't find anything wrong with them.

Only put 5k on them this summer. So far have been great in the desert and on road much better than Ko2. No chunking yet like the ko2. Only negative im seeing so far is they’re wearing kinda fast at least on the first 5k

I'm on the fence between these, Toyo Open Country A/T's or the Falken Wildpeaks. My twist on things- I want to stay at the stock size of P245/75/16. Has anyone ran these Coopers ( Or either of my other 2 choices) in that size? The Taco is bone stock and will remain bone stock. Right now I have 5th gen SR5 4runner wheels and some Good-for-a-year Wrangler 'adventure' Kevlar AT's on it ( 245/75/17) I'm not a fan of those tires at all, the wet traction is almost as bad as the stock Hankook HT's that are the steelies right now.
