Was trying to get a 1/4" set screw out, turns out a little bit of heat was all it needed. Was covered in red loctite :anonymous:

I worked with a office manager once had no idea staplers needed to be reloaded when they quit working.

I am sure she was hired based on her cup size!!

Without getting up from my chair I can see 8.

We also have binding posts (for the really big sets) and a spiral punch.

Pretty good, almost 100% breathing ability. Been shooting massive clumps of gunk outta my nose lately. Had a couple now the size of my thumb

The set I just stapled back together ran out after one staple. Thankfully we had a fresh box in the drawer.
    Me, too!

    G'morning Shane & Co :hattip:

Hope everyone had uneventful holidays last week. Mine was spent up in @phillstill's neck of the woods visiting grandparents. Much food was consumed and good times had with very little if any drama (that's a task in of its self considering we had 21 people all together for 4 days).

    Re: Poll

I've had the pleasure of 2 helo rides, both of which were life flights. Wasn't conscious for the first and the second was more of an evening sunset tour that I got to enjoy save for the fact that the pilot was trying to gas the flight nurse and myself out with his bean burrito farts. I was very thankful to be on oxygen, felt bad for the nurse as he was gagging on the smell.

No ER visits or 911 calls in 4 days is great!!

Most times someone received a Fork in the hand being to slow in years past though pre meal consuming of adult beverages might have had some effect. Being out with coworkers far from home.

    Glad you had fun!

Been in a flying helicopter 3 times.

    1. Blackhawk fam flight in the back with the doors open and a hotshot pilot up front. Looking over your shoulder down at the ground is pretty wild

    2. Bell 407 in the FO seat getting a joyride during a "maintenance runup test" with a buddy flying

    3. In the back of a lifeflight for a transport from Ft Belvoir to Walter Reed cuz I was a newly discovered peds type 1 patient with a blood sugar nearing 1000 (~110ish is normal). Would not recommend.

Indeed. I had lost 17 pounds in 2 weeks from ketoacidosis and profound dehydration from peeing all the time. I think it took like 10 IV bags to get me right again, with one in each arm.

    Re poll:

Never flown in a helicopter. Sat in many but never taken off. Only close time was when my son was being flown to a bigger hospital 4 hours away. Wife was freaking out about having to fly but the nurses said you don’t have a chance we need you there when we land. I had to drive.

A couple of my buddies are flight medics now after getting out of the military. At first they were stoked to not have to "ride the bus" in the local FD ambulance, but I guess they forgot to consider that people don't get to ride in the chopper for having the sniffles. I def keep a little closer eye on them now, cuz you can tell it's wearing on them a little.

I can’t imagine the toll it takes on a person doing that everyday.
