Did you take before and after measurements for the hub-to-fender on front and rear? If not, take the measurements now. I don't know what the 3rd gens are supposed to measure at but 2nd gens with that lift would be something like 23" front hub-to-fender and rear like 24-25".

Based on the one side photo it does look like that upper UCA is stressed. Maybe too much preload on the spring? Looks like you have it set so there is little/no downtravel which is going to ride like garbage but I don't know Ironman stuff so maybe that's how they are? All of them settle but no idea how much.

Which rear leafs do you have? If your bed is completely empy, load it up with a few hundred pounds of sandbags or other junk.

An empty bed on fresh suspension will bounce a bit, but you're definitely sitting way high. 4 inches is far too much to expect to settle down to 2.5.

Yeah, I measured hub to fender before at 20.5" in the front and 21.5" rear. Now they're at about 24" front and nearly 25" rear.

Chatted with their support just now, and they say up to 5k miles to break in the leaf springs and they'll settle a bit. The rear setup is rated for 0-400lbs. and the bed is currently empty. I should probably put some load back there. I can probably lower the front down a bit. I didn't adjust what they sent from the factory. I'll give it a few days and see if the ride improves.

Yeah definitely throw some weight back there. I've used these Sakrete bags before and they hold up well: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Sakrete-70-lb-Tube-Sand/3067709

Again I can't say what a 3rd gen should or shouldn't be because measurements are a little different from 2nd gen but close. When I did mine I was initially at 24" and it seemed too high (and it was). Took quite a while to settle in but now I'm lower than desired. Come springtime I'm adjusting my front back up and I might be back to the original setting. I think it's smart to let it settle some if the front isn't bothering you right now but it's all a very subjective thing.

I can attest that 2 days of wrenching on suspension on a cold garage floor will make you feel 10 years older...

    Happy birthday @Thatbassguy!

Yep dealer here told me that too. Allocations are getting pulled from the dealers playing the markup game.

Your dealer told you that mark ups are a thing of the past?

I hope it's true, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I don't trust most dealer employees as far as I can throw them

the GM (I've known him for a long time) told me that Toyota corporate is pulling allocations from dealers who get caught adding markup to MSRP

    They were warned....

Bingo. They don't necessarily make it public who's getting stuff pulled. But what I do know is our last truck had two tacomas on it that were not originally ours :D
