King will do custom anodizing if you order direct and wait a long time. I’d get King if you want to play with valving yourself since parts are easy to get. Fox is a better build quality but parts can be harder to come by. I’m on the lookout for some used King extended travel fronts to rebuild and revalve myself. I’m holding off until next year though unless I find a disgustingly cheap deal.

 

I don’t mind playing with the valving myself. I have no idea how to do it but I learn pretty quick

Yeah I know 2 dont do it. I am running 3 at the moment. I make more money in 2 days on the weekend then I pull in during my 9-5 all month (except when my commission hits). And you would be surprised what women or guys pay for. Shirtless in a banana hammock working on Harley's and Toyotas does it for these people. Sometimes I get the request to fix something around the house.

 

It let's you do a lot of work to a Tacoma in just a single year............... All I'm saying.

 

at that point its not whether you can afford it but trying to find the time to install it all.
