Please ensure that they are silver, or mirrored glass to ensure that all that sun gets re-directed to poor unsuspecting bystanders and passersby. Can you imagine what traffic will look like if they aim that reflection properly at the roadways?

 

When Bergstrom AFB closed and we moved our units to Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson, the winning bid for the new 12th Air Force HQ building had a copper roof.

The city complained...but the federal contract was awarded anyway.

That copper roof (at two times a day) was blinding. It caused several wrecks.

Response from DoD construction in 1994 was "it'll weather and lose its shine."

They're still shiny. Apparently getting regularly sandblasted keeps 'em shiny. Ooops.

 

I call them "douchebag silos". Kinda catchy, no?

 

Does anyone do vinyl car wraps or can recommend a place in or near Cedar Park that does good work and reasonable priced?

I am trying to get a custom hood wrap for my 80 series Land Cruiser I have the design already designed just awaiting a professional final touches or recommendations..

I have tried contacting a couple places with nonresponse. Will also need it installed as well.

There’s a couple guys in South Austin that do amazing wraps. Signs Express on Manchaca RD. They do FD & EMS vehicles, trade vans, and customs.

Owners also have a Land Cruiser, 4Runner, and awesome Tacoma. Wrapped, of course.

 

Thats one of the places ive tried contacting with no luck and of course they open and close when im at work and closed on weekends lol… How do people get stuff done lol

 

Ill look that place up and contact them appreciate it

Well, time for my monthly trip to Austin, and I missed you all again. Pistons in the Park in Pflugerville. It's gonna take 2 posts, and I'm too lazy to do any more editing! So, here we go from Pflugerville.
Lots of Yotaville Toyotas, Vettes, and license plate luncheon! A good reason to be there! Mine are all at the bottom of the first tote! They were well into the second when I left! It was a Brown Santa event, but I saw him checking out what had to be Blue Santa's used sleigh!
