Excellent points. The kit did include a driveshaft pinion spacer that I did not yet install, but you're probably right that the current angles there are a bit much. Up front, @Camerasandcoffee did help me install the ECGS bushing to replace the stock needle bearing. That job was more work than I had anticipated, but glad we got it done.

The shocks are long travel, and I think I'm getting downtravel, but your point about measuring on a jack is definitely valid. The front shocks are height adjustable and I left them at the factory height, assuming that would be the advertised 2.5". I can certainly adjust downward.

Final torquing of the UCAs, lower shock mounts and leaf spring mounts were all done with the truck back on the ground.

Wrenching on rich Corinthian luxuriant comfort? All these years I've been kneeling and laying on cardboard like a peasant! Even my occasional use of HF moving blankets is plebeian in comparison. I bet @WiscoPat has memory foam pads to lay on. Where has he been lately anyway?

I like how you think! I wish I had the capability for something that involved. I had to buy a bumper because cutting 1/4 plate in straight lines just isn't happening. The rear shelf looks pretty good but mistakes are easily hidden. Bumpers...everything is right out there in the open. Also, I find working in tubing much easier, must be the race fab in me...

Wow. Never really considered a topper for mine, but that is purty and I could see it on my truck. Unfortunately my discretionary spending truck budget will be $0 for a while.

Damn! @Larry Dangerfield, you were just in that area a couple of weeks ago. Really nice cap, maybe a bit pricey but I know those side windows aren't cheap! And it's a lot closer than going out west...:spending:
