Has anyone had any success with using a grease other than superlube on the solo motorsports factory length LCAs?

I've been using superlube for a while now, but it seems to wash out pretty easily.

I did add grease zerks into the arms, but I have to regrease them more than I would like.

I was thinking of maybe trying Red N Tacky, but thought I'd try and see if anyone has any experience with using other stuff.

Oof, that stuff washes off way too easy.

I only ever use (and recommend) this stuff -

    20221130_133523.jpg

Learned about it from a friend some few years back.

I've even included a few in care packages I've sent to friends; awesome stuff.

Wash out or squeeze out? Squeeze out probably means you're putting too much in there

Interesting. Yea I haven't been impressed with the performance of superlube after all these years of using it. Despite all the praise it gets online as THE lube to use for anything with poly bushings. Wonder what makes that stuff different than the superlube.

Probably a bit of both, but it'll typically start squeaking not too long after a rain or going through a puddle or something offroad. But regardless even if I'm putting too much in there, it shouldn't be squeaking since there should be more than enough lube to coat all the surfaces.

Copper Anti-seize. They say they have no issues with their trucks when using that, but I tried it and it was terrible in all aspects.

Paul, over at Solo told me the same thing. Had issues with squeaking noise. I just use any high temp grease but the noise is coming back.

Stuff I use differs from Superlube because this shit is tacky as fuck. Apply it to something and you'll see what I mean when you try to wash it off.

I use Superlube on the o-rings found on the dial/covers for manual hubs, and other light applications.

My Whitelines came with something better than Superlube, and that stuff still washed away.

Had to remove and reinstall my Whitelines and went with the Prothane grease and the front end was quiet again.

    Good to hear.
I guess I'll bit the bullet and get a tube of it.

According to the Amazon Q&A's, the shelf life is pretty long. Talking about yearssss.

Poly bushings require PTFE silicone base lube, like Superlube or the others mentioned in this thread

Daystar sells some too, it's super tacky and damn near impossible to push out a grease gun but will stick on the bushings real good like the Prothane @Kwikvette mentioned. I wouldn't use it in a grease gun if you have grease-able bolts for stuff like the leaf springs however, so tacky it just jams it up. Superlube is better for that

Makes me wonder if superlube has a shelf life. I've had the same tube for a while. I would think that most synthetic greases have a damn long shelf life.

Superlube runs really thin; I would only use on light applications.
