What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Got the tracking for my C4 Overland Bumper. Going to wrap it and toss it under the tree as a gift to myself.

No I did not - Left the stock tweeters in place, just replaced the door speakers.

Now that I figured out the whole door panel remove / put back on. I can add that now.

 

How do you like it? Good upgrade?

 

Are these panels pretty stable at the bottom? Doesn’t seem like the Cali raised ones I’m looking at are secured at the bottom. The only securing is at top and bottom free floats with a spacer.

 

I don't have one of the Cali ones I have one of the originals that were sold here in group buys. The one I have secures at the tops and in the middle.

 

Due to my 6" lift, 35's, snugtop shell, and Uptop rack I have been on the hunt for cargo boxes that were 4" thick or less to meet the 83" height limit of my garage. I was able to finally find some heavy duty waterproof/dustproof 49.29"L x 11.57"W x 3.94"D cases. They arrived today and I was able to set one on top and check the clearance - GTG with 1" to spare, sits at 82"

I am waiting on the mounting hardware from uptop overland to arrive, will get them mounted and move all my recovery/air down/up gear etc. from my decked system (freeing up more room for camping/overlandy stuff)

Well, I installed the SS3 Fogs on my truck, and I can't help but be disappointed. The lights are great, but the brackets for the kit they provide are terrible. They're noticeably smaller than the stock ones so they don't line up all that well, and only one screw hole lines up on top of that if you manage to force it in. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I emailed their support line about it.

Yes I painted it. Transtar 4653 satin black.

 

My 2005 Tacoma does not have grab handles like they show in the picture on that page. I have never seen a 2005 with grab handles; not to say they do not exist, just that I have never seen a 2005 with grab handles.

I do not see this as a viable option; this is why no one has a panel for the 2005....

I would love someone to prove me wrong because I would love to have such a panel....

 

This would work if the access cab had the grab handles above the rear suicide door... Might be able to modify it slightly?

 

@WestCoastBestCoast Here is what I did. Gotta find a guy that can make you a set. Still have my seats and can see out the back window.

I got a pair last year and they fit perfect I haven't had an issue at all and didn't when installing them either. Not sure what happened with yours.
