Their cutting costs left and right. It’s a downhill spiral. I’m happy I’m not part of it anymore

Every company or business I've worked for or with has always looked at employees as an expense/number. Don't take it personally as their's always other opportunities. Take some time for yourself and figure out what you'd like out of the deal. Maybe pick up a new certification or training and market your skillset elsewhere. Employees still have a lot of leverage over employers in this market. You could probably get a raise out of the situation.

Maybe you could become a TW Mod. I hear it's hard work and you get paid with heaps of complaints from a few folks.

Installed the VLEDs rear footwell lights... on the C-pillars. I was tired of not having enough light in the rear of the cab so I remedied that by getting a few extensions and the rear footwell kit. Then I just tied into the passenger side front footwell light, ran an extension under the scuff panel, up the C-pillar, and out where the seatbelt used to be. Then I dropped the rear clothes hanger which allowed me to pull the headliner down a little so that I could run the other extension over to the driver side. About 1.5 hours worth of work because I had to remove the wall-side of the 60% seat delete to put the C-pillar trim back on. Overall, well worth it. The lights are on when the vehicle is on and the headlights are on, but I have them located to where they aren't visible in the mirror and they put out a lot of light.

I've worked at the same soulless, multinational Fortune 50 for, gosh, twelve years now. Came in as an "experienced hire." In that time, we've been through three "reductions in workforce." They happen like clockwork, per my "lifer" friends. A few of us have an operating theory that there's a spreadsheet in HR that has every employee's ID in a row, with various "metrics" in the columns, with a formula computing an overall number in the last column. When "external macroeconomic exigencies" rear their ugly head, a red line is dropped at a certain number. Your ID is either above or below the red line. Curiously, in the RIFs I've seen here, HR has never lost any headcount. In the second one I lived through, they actually were hiring.

Thus endeth my tempranillo-soaked rambling on this topic for the evening.

I haven't purchased anything for my truck in a while. But seen mesocustoms black friday sale ad on instagram and thought I would check it out. I was lying in bed and thought I would refresh the page a little before midnight and their sale started early... The stage 1 light kit was oddly cheaper than expected (I think they typo'ed and forgot the 1.) so $50 bucks, plus 50% off... tossed some more stuff in the cart and paid. I was kind of expecting them to email me about it or flat out cancel the order, but much to my surprise, the order was fulfilled. I'm excited. =D
