Auxbeam AR-800 showed up today, so I mocked it up for fitment. It's no Switch Pro, but for $209 it'll do just fine. Going to order the power tray to mount it.

This evening I spent 3 minutes "upgrading" to wireless CarPlay. It was even a promotional product, so I'm in for almost nothing. Now I don't need to remove anything from pockets to get in and drive. I never knew I needed such things that now I can't live without it.

Also acquired some soft shackles and waiting for an upgraded tow rope. Things that I hope I don't need (very often anyway) but feel I should have for Colorado mountains winter and off-road driving.

Show a pic of your gasshole on receipt. Mine doesn't work, the cap threads don't fit into the hole I think I'm going to have to modify it. It's a Pity when you got to modify a $20 part to make it work.

    Oh look, another mod....

That sucks man. You could go back to what you used to do years ago.... Shakin' your money maker on the pole for dolla' bills. Hey, there's no shame in it. We've all done it!

I'm even willing to toss you a few bucks. But ya' gotta do something strange for some change'.

Yeah, we've been tracking that over here in the puzzle palace! Crazy to see that at PTA. People don't realize HI has every climate in the world there.

So, much like I would assume after reading so many of crash and burns posts - these bulbs have not worked out. They throw light way above the headlight beam cutoff. I am sure they are a nuisance to oncoming traffic. I will either send them back, or eat the $18

Just to clarify it was the truck that didn't last a year

On a serious note a shitty situation but Im glad you’re seeing the positive in it. It seems people are either having to let go or throw shit at the wall and see what sticks type situations. Over here the job your looking for with experience level you've attained would not be hard to find

Picked up a remote starter from 12 Volt Solutions during their Black Friday Sale. Installed it last night, and probably could have done it in their listed 30-45 minutes install time if not for my gorilla hands trying to work in small spaces. In hindsight, probably would have been easier to just remove the whole lower dash.

Their options are basically; blue or green, 6 or 8 button, app control or no, and fuse box with access on one side or on both sides.
The 8 button one is the model that most people make aftermarket adapter bezels for mounting in cab.
Personally I went with the blue buttons because all my buttons are already blue back lit, no app because I don't see the need for an app to control buttons that are right next to my knee, and the single sided fuse box because it seems like the easiest to mount in the engine bay (I've seen multiple people on here that just mount it to the top of the fuse box in the engine bay)

Nice. Where did you get that small front/rear camera switch? How is the Auxbeam working out?
