I’ve been slammed at work, end of the month, but we’re actually doing good this month, less than 10K in open tickets, almost set a record for monthly sales and November is supposed to be one of our slowest months.

Rode to work this morning and then stopped by my parents house to feed their cats while they’re out of town and ended up being able to catch the cats so I left my bike at their house and borrowed one of their trucks so the cats didn’t have to ride the KLR 30 minutes home.

Drifted the 4runner on my way into work this morning on a downhill through the snow... no way I could have taken the bike in. We got 3 or 4 inches overnight last night and are supposed to get about the same again tonight, woo!

Actually, probably would have made it on the ct90, that things a freaking champ in the snow, but it currently spews oil from every connection and every seam of the oil cooler :anonymous:

Literally every seam. I mounted it a few months ago and just immediately gave up when I saw how bad it was. I need to just pull it and put the bypass back in place. Don't need a cooler when it's below freezing.

I make plans to ride every morning and something keeps coming up where I need to take the truck instead. It's "SoCAL cold" here so not unbearable but just enough where you'd get numb quick without full insulated gear. Rough day at work today so I have to make it a point to at least ride the bike for lunch tomorrow and stop making excuses.

Sadly for me it hasn't been the weather keeping me from riding to work it's road work. There is a huge new warehouse going in directly across the road from our shop. They're reworking the road and one fairly large intersection right in front of our shop, started on it back in June I think. The road itself where I work is closed immediately south of our entrance and all traffic is forced to come in from north of the shop and has been for months. They're relocating water, gas, sewer, electric, phone, and cable so it's a total clusterfu**k. Two weeks ago they tore out our entire entrance way, milled the road surface down several inches, and generally destroyed the last couple hundred yards I need to get through to get in to work. They have it so screwed up I legit feel unsafe riding through it on a street bike. Maybe if I had a dual sport but that's not currently one of my options.

They're supposed to be paving and finishing the area up soon but now with temps dropping below freezing overnight I don't know how that's going to work. Hoping I can soon commute by bike again.

Damn. That doesn't sound like a good time at all. :(

I've been semi absent, so apologies if this was previously covered, but any word on the bike?

I assume you are hoping for a total? Has the driver that turned in front of you checked up on you?
