    Hello,

I need to change my vehicle info, but this truck is a 2022 with V6.

Over Thanksgiving I noticed one of the bolts holding the upper intake manifold (also called a surge tank?) to the lower intake manifold was almost completely backed out of its hole. Since we were traveling I spun it back in and snugged it. Several of the other upper intake bolts were very loose. I snugged them all lightly but a torque wrench that goes down to 15 ftlbs wasn’t available. Truck has 5,000 miles on it. I plan to ask the dealer about it when I take it for service.

    Questions:

Has anyone else had this happen? What was the final outcome? Anything beyond just tightening?

Did I screw myself over by tightening the bolts so that the dealership won’t see a problem? I’d rather have not touched it, but it was a holiday weekend and there wasn’t a way to get it into the shop prior to needing the truck for a long trip.

    Thanks!
