Off topic...

Ran to my local True Value hardware store for a couple of nuts and bolts. I notice some Ace Rewards cards at the register. Hmmmmm. I ask. They were bought out and will be the 5th of a locally owned Ace Hardware store chain. Everything that Ace won't be selling is 75% off. Picked up a 100' 12/3 extension cord, a 50' 14/3 extension cord and a 9' 12/3 multi-outlet cord. All for under $50.

Channellock brand is included. Guy told me that our town Public Works Department came in and bought every Channellock tool.

No. This is a local True Value hardware store that was just bought by another local chain of Ace Hardware stores.

 

Same here others were bought by 3rd parties.

 

Titebond was one of the brands that's 75% off. Not sure why as I think Ace sells that. I loaded up on various glues and caulking.

 

every true value near me has already been an ace store for over 20 years. YMMV

 

The Milwaukee rep at my HD had one in his truck. It's quite big. After you add the track, it's almost as much as the cordless Festool.

 

Is the M18 top handle saw available yet?

 

Not sure if it’s really worth it over a table saw… I’m sure it has its place but for $299 the Ryobi seems much more practical with 55” track included.
