Well that escalated quickly. Thanks @Rexfordian13 ! I definitely owe you a finders fee. Good amount of rust in the bed but not crushing. Just might have to list my 18 dclb now. Hmmmmm

Not to rain on your parade but that frame looks very rusty - did it pass the hammer test?

Worst case on the frame above the rear wheels, you may need to weld plates on.

Frame was replaced in 2012 but surprisingly rusty for a replacement.

That's 10 years. If they didn't treat it they easily rust out in 10 years

    This!

My frame only lasted 8 years before it failed... mine didn't look that crusty.

I would crawl underneath there and check it thoroughly, hit the frame with a ball peen hammer. One of the main spots that fails is the area near the front leaf spring perch.

Ok I’ll double check. Thanks for the added info. Felt just surface when I hand inspected those areas.

It's been 10 years, if you leave a vehicle 10 years in rust belt states without any care, they're all going to look like that. That doesn't look bad for 10 years in rust belt w/o any care, to be fair.

Hammered her good and flakes were a flying but solid underneath. I’ll see about getting it blasted when I get the bed fixed. Not bad for $3,500! She’s home and registered.
