The biggest differences between the AR-800 and the other Auxbeam versions is that the AR-800 also works with your phone, you can pick any color vs. only the green or blue on the other switch panels and you can set the lights as toggle, momentary or pulse. (It's like a cheap knock off version of the switch pro 9100) The Black Friday sale knocked the price down from $269 to $209, so I bought it.

It came with the anytime camera kit. I bought mine pre soldered from trailgridpro...

Also got the camera mount for the grill from here... I'll post some feedback on it when I get it all connected. I need a power tray mount first.

Just finished up the Goose Gear Rear Seat delete this past week to go along with my third taillight swap from tacoma lifestyle. The delete was a process in and of itself as I had to apply noico and siless soundproofing prior to the install.

I'm not the OP but can answer. I got mine from the dealer (I have the DCSB, but there is an OEM part for the DCLB too); or get the OEM part online. I considered an aftermarket one (e.g., pop & lock) to save a few dollars, but for me the advantages of OEM were worth it. It fits perfectly onto the tailgate lock (no need to disconnect anything), the length of the harness is the length of the vehicle, the wire is shielded as it goes near the exhaust system, and it comes with exact grommets (aftermarket you poke holes in an empty grommet so it will never seal as well).

I seem to be ignorant. What do you gain by installing a front-facing camera?

Better field of view in front. See things in wider view than you would without.
Great for offroad and close quarters

You can point them downward and see what is directly in front your truck. Very helpful while cresting a hill off road when all you see is sky through the windshield.

To see things directly in front of your truck. Toys, the garage wall, or most fun a large looming rock that wants to meet your engine instead of your tires. I don't have one (yet). But if I keep reading this forum I'll have one of everything except a dollar.

I don't offroad but I still use mine frequently. Parking at work is tight and it helps maneuvering around the lot. I can't be the only one who has a hard time seeing over the taco's hood?

Those shots make the truck look so looong

and yeah, those A30’s probably weren’t doing you any favors in the snow. I held out for 5 years in mine

Had one like that on my Quicksand. I had mixed feelings about it but did get several compliments. The finish was called Scorpion Coating.

There a great video on YouTube, probably more than one, of a driver demonstration using a camera in his garage.
Shows how you can see so much more than from the driver position.
That should really showcase the benefits. Give it a look. :)

i considered tinting the Raptor Liner to their Olive Green, but know it will not be a perfect match and it will bug me. I really believe I will be happy with the black as it will match the black trim on the truck fenders, etc.

    Thanks

Interesting. I used H 11’s in all the light wells. They all fit and are just what I wanted. Aimed the same as the halogens. The fogs however are not aiming lens more like spot lights to be honest I try not to use them until on the trails
