Yep! Working on that along with trying to figure out if airbags operate and sense differently when in 4LO or not.

 

starting a new project with the truck.
Idea: would be nice to just place things on the hard tonneau cover and secure them there.
Project: build something that i can use the hard tonneau cover and have some tie down points along the side and some bed bars over the tonneau.

so hears is the start

 

Are you looking to bolt thru the tonneau panels or just have L-brackets secured to the bed rails?

 

this is what I'm going for. I just dont want to pay upwards of 500 for a set.. plus its going to be a nice winter project thats easy on the back. lol.

 

you are probably gonna need some light, strong, corrosion resistant bars for that project...

 

These would go really well with my new RTT.

Yup, been cross it. it's a bit hard to access at the moment, with the foot of snow round those parts and the fact the road isn't open over there for the season.

 

Yeah + I’m selling my travel trailer so have the cash available for a nice RTT.
