Yes. Heart attack, chest pains, Accident, etc., they will receive the same care as someone with the best insurance. The only difference, is that after care is on them. However, there are many Dr. that take care of those too. Some have reduced rates to make things more easilly affordable, or they have a "sliding scale" for those with less money.

That depends on the insurance they have. My insurance is 100%, so the only thing I have to pay for is my premium, wich is only $150.00 a month for my Wife and I. So, If they get a lesser insurance, then they may have to pay a bit more.

No. However, We dont pay near as much in taxes. If you dont have insurance, and you need emergency treatment, that would be free, like I mentiond.

Look what its done to countries like yours and Great Britans. Higher taxes, and poor care. I feel comfortable knowing that me and my loved ones are going to get the best care possible. I would hate to see them have to wait to be fixed of their ailment. Case in point:
My Dad had a heart attack about 10 years ago, and in the middle of nowhere. Within 30 mins he was at a hospital via a helocopter, and getting the best treatment. Another example. A few weeks ago, It was found he had a couple blocked arteries. The #5 artirial surgeon in the world (Yes...IN THE WORLD) told him that he can have his team assembled within the hour. Even though it wasnt an "emergency". The last time I broke a bone, I was on the way to mend in 24 hours. 20 mins from the time I broke it, I was treated at the ER, and on my way to a specialist. SO....NO. I like my health care JUST the way it is. :)

Theres nothing Expensive about it. As I mentioned, My primiums are 150 a month, for my Wife and I. How much do you think this "Free" health care is going to raise your taxes? I have news....It will go up WAY more than 150 a month! AND, You will get the "luxury" of having to wait for months if you need treatment for something. People think that 20% taxes are expensive?? Imagine double that, or more.

i'm sure you've never been to canada and had our health care. the only time you ever hear anything about our health care system is if a patient says the aren't happy with something. so you can't say its bad. if you compare it to another country with the same population i'm sure its one of the top few in health care. i also broke my leg last fall playing hockey and hockey canada pays for the ambulance and they fixed me that day.

I have many friends who are from, or currently live in Canada. They come here for their health care, because they want to be treated fast, and with quality. I have also heard the stories of how long people have to wait for treatment. In fact, one of our Canadian members is curently awating treatment due to an injury at work....This happened months ago. Hell....He would have been fully healed by now in the US.

You guys banter around a direct correlation between our taxation levels and healthcare . Our taxes are higher because of many factors that are different than the US , one is healthcare , granted , but another is controlling our national debt , which you guys seem oblivious to .

like i said in 'ask a canadian'. if you live in saskatchewan they will send you out of province if we dont have the equipment, expertise or if the wait time is too long. so like you said if it isnt life threatening you may have to wait a month but if it is life threatening you will get in right away.

they do that hear but say if you came in with a broken arm and a guy who came in with a broken neck. the guy with the broken neck would get fixed before you but if they have lots of e.r docs you will probably get done around the same time. when you went in with the slice in your finger and someone else came in with a broken arm, the broken arm guy would get fixed first.
