What hasn't moved (not counting the buildings in the background!) in that time?

Agreed. Most of the equipment is in the same place.

They spent over 2 days assembling the crane and used it for one day only to be told that they can't use it because something didn't get to the right guy at the airport even though other people at the airport signed off on it.

    So there it sits.

Hopefully they get everything sorted so they don't have to use the baby crane for everything.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
When we were planning the trip, about 1/2 of the roads south of the Chisos Mountains were closed. They have been opening them as they can get them repaired. I did see heavy equipment being moved around on one of the days we were there. From what I could tell, River Road (East & West) don't connect in a safe enough way to open. We ran about 13 miles of River Road West and came back in knowing it was closed in front of us at some point. We were also running solo and I didn't want to push my luck s the road was starting to get soft and there were not many good winch points.

(Old) Maverick Road was closed with no ETA to open when we there. It now appears to be open. Javelina Wash crosses that road a couple of times which is probably why it was closed. We crossed that wash going Castelon to Santa Elana Canyon and they had been scraping mud that was about a foot deep off the paved road. Id make sure you at least have traction boards and maybe a sand anchor as winch points were few and far between on River Road and what I could see of the others we looked at. Not a lot of trees or boulders.

There is also a daily bulletin you can check for road conditions, weather forecast, and notes. https://bbnha.org/docs/DAILYREPORT.pdf

We had a big crane sit for near a week during outage. Too much wind, $5,000 a day to sit.

This will be the part that holds the yellow urethane piece and get pushed up in the leak area.
I haven't decided yet on what shape to configure the yellow piece but figure possibly turning a angled pocket for it to sit in.

Looks like the only thing that has moved is the zoom-boom and that black Ferd.
