If the cough gets really bad and nothing helps, you know - the type of cough that lasts long enough to jack with your gut muscles - ask the doc about benzonatate (aka Tessalon Perles). Its a pill you take which numbs the throat/lungs. Its not a narcotic and might help.

The summer before COVID started I was down for nearly a fing month with a horrible cough that would not go away. Intermittent fever, seriously knocked me on my ass. Couldn't breathe worth shit. Multiple chest xrays - negative for pneumonia. Never did figure it out but Doc finally ok'd an Rx for a broad spec antibiotic and I started feeling better within a week. Horrible. Don't ever want to exp that again.

I need to recommend this to my Dad next time, he tore the lining and bruised his abdomen from coughing last year.

The snugtops appear to be the strongest of those. I had a raider on my green truck, it was okay, but overall a bit flimsy

That is neat. I've discovered a nice part of the state where the trails are well maintained and the Tacoma with lockers will be adequate for driving out to camp. So I started thinking, about rigging up the Tacoma as a camper and just using the 100 for the more technical stuff and long trips.

lil bit of that, steady sleep/wake schedule, and stress management getting back into computer gaming have all been key. Stress is a big killer for the working population!

Saw u dug into the taco again recently, anything new? I've been just creeping miles with the slug, 157k now. IIRC u recommended redline for winter temps shifting roughness, this winter was the first with it and good lord is it a difference. Thanks!!!

She wont wear it. Hates harnesses, being held, really anything that is constraining to her.

The Leer 100r I have is OK. Still, like you mentioned - flimsy. When I drilled through the roof of the cap to run my solar, I swear it wasn't even 1/2" thick. The peeps that toss RTTs up on top of caps, hell... brave AF. I don't have Windoors but they sure would make life easier. @CS_AR if you go the cap route, windoors are a must.

I did have a Snugtop SS for a bit. I liked its fit on the bed more than the Leer. Didn't care for the small popout windows on the side. Too claustrophobic for me. Still, in terms of build quality - I'd say the snugtop (at least that model) was superior to the Leer.

I tried walking her with a harness a few times. She would go a few yards then lay splayed out in the road until I took off the harness. Couldn't force her to walk, she was fine being dragged on the asphalt. Choke chain seems to work best for her.

My ARE has been good. Comes down to what you want to do with it and how much you want to spend.
Fiberglass, aluminum, windoors, etc. Go with an import like AluCab going to pay more but they're tanks. If you want a pop-up though, better be sitting down while looking at quotes.
