Would those be pretty close to 3rd gen ones?

2nd gen won’t give as much lift as stock 3rd gen coils. You need to get some Eibach shocks and ditch the billies. Eibach designed and valved the shocks around the heavier 3rd gen. Mine rode like a dream with my pro truck kit.

These 5100’s have less than 1500 on them. You think they would be worth anything? If I bought new Eibach stuff and ripped these out?

Yea you can still sell those 5100s they'll fit 2gen 3 gen Tacoma and 4gen and 5gen 4runners so you shouldn't have any issues selling them

My brother in law just lifted his 3rd gen. I’ll ask

Edit: he no longer has them. Sorry.

To add to his statement I had the stage one eibachs on my old truck and now have the 2.0 coilovers on my current truck. I'm quite happy with their products. And also the coilovers were meant for 3rd gens but I have them on a 2nd gen with a bumper, winch, and sliders.

Tbh, I bought into the hype. Was plenty happy before. Now, I’m less happy, and 2k in the hole lol.

If I account for the new shocks, struts and labor. The new set of eibachs, the alignment.. balances.. diags to figure out what was causing the issue.

So, by next Friday, I’ll be rolling on my stage one’s and hopefully back in business

Haha I’m a mall crawler at best. I don’t off road, but do use my truck as a truck. That’s a lot of cash for a whole lot of pavement. They are nice though.

Going to see Hardy at Township tomorrow in Columbia and am fucking stoked!!! The beers will be flowing like the rivers of ancient Babylon (technically that’s almost every night but I digress). LOL. TGIF! Coors FTW!

I hear ya! It’s a habit plus I spent a lot on it to fit the Coors cans. Trust me my man, they don’t last long. 2 down in 15 min since getting home. :D

Me and the wife can’t wait! Next up is The Lacs. Them and Hardy are tied for #1 in my book.
