    Not surprised at all. I had to teach most of my friends (the ones in Socal) to use the wipers and most of the controls in the car. Hell when one of my friends had a flat (yes they drove to school with the flat) they didn't even know where the spare tire was or any of the tool, they didn't even know what I was talking about when I asked where the stuff was. Also the spare was 0psi, so filled it with my air compressor.:D

    I would just like to throw this out there...

    In Cyprus, they get 360 out of 365 days of the year with sun. So there may be a reason that someone honestly doesn't know where (or even what) the windshield wipers/washer are. They have never had a reason to use them, or even see someone else using them.
