I'll be listing my TRD PRO suspension very soon and pulling them out of the garage. I purchased these from a friend with the intentions of installing them on my 2006 Tacoma but never got around to doing so. I've recently decided to sell my truck and purchase another vehicle, hence the reason for this sale. I'd very much prefer a local pick-up, but would be willing to work with shipping if it's covered by the interested buyer. I will do my best to get photo's in a timely manner.

    Vehicle: 2018/2019 TRD PRO
    Mileage: 5,336 miles
    Price: $1,400 (SOLD)

    It's a few posts above...
I'm interested in the fronts if someone wants just the rears.

They would have to be shipped to Denver, CO.

Not trying to be a troll, but do you mind if I ask why people prefer these over aftermarket mid travel suspensions? Is it just price since you can use your stock control arms and stuff? Is it since its within the factory specs Toyota built our trucks for? That said I have a TRD pro and love it. I use it off road a bit and have no complaints. I guess eventually I will have to decide to rebuild, go aftermarket mid travel, or something else.

Can only speak for myself but I felt that it was good value for the money, it was engineered with the Tacoma in mind, and I was happy with the feel when I had my set both wheeling and on the street.

Is it the best option or even the best value?

probably not but it floated my boat so I like em

Many issues with aftermarket suspension: Icon top hats crack and break, corrode when you just say the word "winter" to it, regular Fox ones are overkill…

For me, if I can get a good price on a take off set, it's a nice upgrade from my 2nd gen Bilstein / TRD collaboration "Baja" model suspension (which is equivalent to the aftermarket "extended travel" front coilovers). For how much people usually ask for a set of the 3rd gen TRD Pro suspension that needs a rebuild, has corrision, missing pieces, or other issue(s), it's ridiculous and not worth it.

In my mind a decent price for a set of fronts that don't need rebuilt is about $600 and rear is about $300. If it is at all questionable if they need a rebuild, they are worth much less since paying someone to rebuild is several hundred dollars PLUS any replacement parts.

I can't use the rear because I need extended travel with my Dobinsons leaf springs - currently my stock travel Bilstein/Baja rear shocks are limiting my travel and a pair of extended ones would not.

Oh, also, "TRD" and "TOYOTA TRD RED" is worth a lot to people just going for the look. I don't care, I just want quality and low maintenance.

I'd be a buyer at 1000 plus something for shipping, past that it gets into the bilstein 6112/5160 territory. My truck has the pro wheels and grill so I thought the shocks would be cool too.

Have a set of 2017 TRD Pro shocks (front and rear) with the Eibach aftermarket springs and 1/2" top plate spacer. Have approx. 50k miles on them, so probably due for a rebuild.
    Selling for $1,000 even.

I got pro suspension because it was $150 bucks, was a direct upgrade for my truck, and I didnt want to deal with noises from some of the aftermarket stuff.

    1. Cost & availability - It's a decent quality set of shocks for the price; Low mileage (used) sets are fairly readily available
    2. Looks "factory" - I'm still under Toyota factory warranty, and these keep the factory stock appearance...at least at first glance
    3. Function & Aesthetics- Greatly improves ride quality over stock TRD OR suspension; Provides a very small lift for a subtle improvement in appearance; the lift is small enough to not directly and negatively affect diff angles, etc. too severely (for now, I don't have needle bearing or driveshaft angle issues, or need a diff drop)
