I know it’s only been a few days but how’s the CarPlay working out with your promotion product?

 

So far so good! It does take a few seconds longer to 'boot' and connect than the wired connection but by the time I've backed out and belted in it's ready to go. I cannot discern any differences in it and the wired version.
I think I'll get a 90-degree USB adaptor to drop the USB down instead of out, and then I'll be ready to stick it to the top of the center storage bin. It's retail price was only $35, but it appears to not be available right now. Odd.

I can't find any information on that in the packaging. This seems to be a common device sold under many brands. The model is SMT-9B, and the packaging shows the brand "AutoBox".

EDIT: A sticker on the back shows"GW3.0 Wireless Activator, Model: SMT-9B".

I wouldn't want to actually use that ARB recovery doodad . Not a fan of how its mounted to the thin gauge metal in that hollow frame tubing.

On today's episode of "let's f*** shit up", James' voices try talking him out of remodeling, but the cabin fever and temperatures finally above 0, he ignores them. Not the finishes product by any means, but thought I'd take pics as I progress.
