Question…. How do you permanently disable Lane Departure Alert

I did this on my 19 Off-Road and now that I have a 2023 I can’t find the info on it… for the pros in here let me know where the info is please …. This thing aches me

 

Unplug it maybe

 

From what I remember when I did it last time , it would just restart from the last setting you had… it was super clutch…. I just can’t find the info anymore

 

This is your on/off button. It does not reset with engine turn off.

 

Maybe I’m thinking of the coffee cup, or maybe they fixed that annoying notification

The rest alert thing can be adjusted in the dash display using the menu controls on the right side of the steering wheel. You can only adjust some of these settings with the vehicle running and in park. Can't be driving.

 

This button adjusts the follow distance of your radar cruise between close, medium, and far. It will show a visual representation in the dash's screen to show what you have selected.

 

@fake4x4 - I was able to turn it off on my '21 TRD OR AC. Damned if can can remember if it was in the Multi-function Display or in the Navigation & Multimedia System.
Perhaps it was how @50Buck stated above.

 

Whatever it was I remember I had to change the programming of the ecu …. Maybe it was the coffee thing …. Just got into a Tacoma again and I was just trying to set this thing up how my 19 was

Coffee mug is in the screen. This is all in the owner manual, too.

 

It was something else where it would always refresh on every start up …. It wasn’t as simple as your showing …. Man I hope some 19 owners pop in

 

turn it off in settings. as stated above, it does not default to on, when key cycling, or push to start on and off. set it and forget it. turned mine off November of 2019, it has never came back on. Ski

 

What about the coffee ?

 

Maybe it was different on the MT which my 19 was idk. Just want to make sure my 23 AT doesn’t do this fuckery

Probably the traction control. That resets.
