Me and the boy have been waiting patiently for splitscreen co-op to come out for Halo Infinite for months now and I found out yesterday that 343 bailed on the project. So, I twisted my own arm a pulled the trigger on a new XBox Series X for the master bedroom

Eventually the Series X will go out in the man cave once it’s (ever?) done and I’ll get a proper cool guy tv that will be worthy of it. Regardless, I’m stoked that the dude and I can finally check out Infinite!

 

Apparently this happened in the 90s right after the Sabres finished their morning skate, someone would've been in deep shit if that thing fell in the team lol

Yeahhhh that's exactly it. Picking up on patterns and figuring out how to eliminate those things from my life if possible or coming up with better ways to prepare and manage seasons/situations

I was talking with my friend Friday night about how sometimes we have to let go of things we think we want because they don't benefit us anymore. Sometimes the things that feel best are entirely different than what's normal/expected/habitual

 

It’s really fun with him and he’s been as patient as you can expect for a 5th grader. His buddies have long since finished the campaign (or just went straight to multiplayer), so he’s been chomping at the bit for sure. But I don’t want him playing thru the campaign before I do either

Today's toddler meltdown occured over me throwing away her chewed up/spit out food that she was apparently "saving for later"....1 hour of screaming and crying later I think she's finally convinced it's not coming back

 

Yep. Ideas have to be easily replaceable when they no longer fit.
