I put seat heaters in the back seats. Mine came with fronts. Amazing to have rear seat heat. However…it was a two day job. Removed the factory seat material installed the heaters then reinstalled the seats. New wiring. Tapped into fuse block. Took out the center console to drill holes for switches and wiring. And did in in January when it was 25 deg out. Truck does not fit in garage. Super cool mod but DONT DO IT! It’s nuts. Did I mention that it took two days and it was 25 out. Some people are not that smart:annoyed::rofl:

So the local dealer discount is for certain dealers all the time, I’ve been ordering discounted parts for a month from the site, then yes you could put the 15% Black Friday discount on top of that. That’s how I got an OEM power tailgate lock for $120!

They are amazing in the snow for being non studded. They will occasionally slide in very very bad conditions but overall I think it’s one of the top 3 best off roading tires that handle well in snow also. Everyone in colorado had them too lol. My girlfriend and neighbor are the ones that put me on game

They look like Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. I'm also in Colorado and have had them on my 4Runner, and have found them to be great all-around except for ice. They are amazing in snow and basic off-road (I don't do the hard stuff), are pretty quiet for the aggressive tread, and wear well (about 50K for me). But in ice they just don't have enough siping. When I replace my OEM tires I'll be considering them for the Tacoma.

Just finished installing Peragon Platinum bed cover, shocks need to loosen up a bit but very happy with the look. Also got the tailgate power lock actuator installed in the tailgate, sun is getting pretty hot so going to wait till it cools back down later tonight to finish the wiring in the cab and under the truck.

Thought I would do a couple simple mods today.
Changed license plate bulbs, because one died, with LED. Now I get hyperflashing when signaling left and right. Now what?
Changed LEDs in fog light housings, because one died, but one broke and fell inside. Now what?

Finished installing a homebrew Front camera mod.

Installed an OEM front bed rail purchased from Sparks Toyota. PT27835100BH perfect fit in my '22 5ft bed. IIRC, $33 for the OEM rail, $19 S+H.

Halfway done with a homebrew Footwell Lights mod using an Oznium LED fade controller. Possible precursor for some fade in/out puddle/courtesy lights mounted underneath the truck. If I do that, my plan is to mount them on some support bolted into one of the recessed threaded holes used for installing running boards.

Idea. I got these tiny 3mm rare earth magnets, really strong. I would glue one on end of pencil, let dry completely, stick pencil into that hole to catch the bulb base.

I tried with a mechanic's pencil magnet but the 3x tabs made it impossible to pull through the hole and magnet not strong enough to hold the base.
