    Looking Great, We have been canning for years (im in mid 70's) I also like to put up a few jars of Kraut, a few years ago I purchase a 10 lb crock which makes the job so much easier.. Yours looks good!! the beer can makes a good packer. ps that venison looks great also, had to give up deer hunting a couple of years ago, that was harder than quiting smoking!!!

    I highly recommend looking up Hank Shaw. His website has all kinds of game recipes. Everything from very simple to very time consuming.

    Nope, that's the entry. We determined that at 40 feet, the slug came in a little hot and blew up on impact.
    Normally a 20ga Accutip has about a .45 caliber entry hole. :humble:

    Beautiful morning in the shotgun zone. 24 deg, no wind.
    My BIL is just getting over a round of the creeping crud and I put him in my spot this morning.
    I then proceeded to play bird dog in the thickest, nastiest briars hoping to push a couple his way.
    Pushed a couple out, but nothing seen.

    Did find this, and was hoping not to see what did it as I'm tagged out for bucks. :rofl:

    Lovin the Kraut pics. ive got a crock with a weight that fits it.family has always fermented. My dads favorite is sour buckwheat cakes. mom would mix up buckwheat pancake batter,yeast it and keep in the basement. it would bubble n ferment. I didnt have a taste for them as a kid but dad did.may do a batch to to see what i think now:thumbsup:
