I bought a touch up pen from my local Toyota dealership…seems like a good item for smaller stuff like rock chips and what not. I haven’t had an opportunity to use it as I live in Washington State and I haven’t had dry weather yet.

I've also used the Toyota touch up paint from the dealer for my other Toys and it matches perfectly. That little bottle is intended for chips and scratches and it brushes on so if you have larger areas or want it super smooth I don't think that will cut it. Although I have not used these products, I've seen spray paint called DupliColor at auto parts stores and have seen others advertised. Fortunately I've never had a large area to paint.

I just checked the touch up paint for my 4Runner. It is a 1/2 ounce bottle. Just for dings.

Recently traded out my '13 PreRunner SR5 DCSB (4 cyl/RWD) for a '19 TRDOR DCLB. Doing a fair amount of cosmetic/basic shit to start:

*Bed Liner, Seat Covers, Interior LED Lights, Running Boards, and random interior swag is done (for now).
*Rounding out red/dark red trim and highlights in some spots to offset the MBM. Should be finished in the next week.
*Next up is scheduling the KDMAX tune, and I'll go from there...

I'll ask about that next time I buy. Thanks!

IMG_3155.jpg IMG_3312.jpg ...just got a new 2022 SR5 and immediately swapped out the SR/SR5 grill with the TRD Sport/OR grill. I think the sr/sr5 grill is a cheap look as compared to any of the other trim grills. The Sport/OR grill really enhances the appearance of the SR5.

Yes, both seats and backs. Definitely a pain. Would maybe consider doing it in the summer if I had to. One issue I have with Black Friday sales is that I don't want to install in the winter since my truck does not fit in the garage. So stuff has to sit until March if I get a deal. 1st World problem of course.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
No, I really have to dedicate some solid time without interruption and do one. The whole thing. From bumper to bumper. To answer your question, I don't really know it just kinda, happened, I suppose. It's like one morning I get up to frolic thru my day and then I see all this insanity and I ask myself, should I be seeing a counselor for whatever my other half is doing or should I just send him and continue leading a normal life? It's at this point I realized asking myself this question, out loud, in line at a store with people nervously backing away, that I do in fact need a counselor. That, right there, is how my poor truck has ended up with more than 50% of anything factory removed and interior being redecorated. Glad ya asked?

    Brand new.
I wrote to them the other day, they mentioned they are having supplier issues, guess their fabrication shop is slow.

Did you get it to stay adhered? I’ve tried everything short of giving up on the tape and super gluing it.

Dug through my old climbing gear, and did the chalk bag water bottle holder. Gonna go back and seemed out some material to allow the panels to fit back together a little tighter 02A18873-58CC-4B4A-B0B6-04AE8C5A413D.jpg

The chalk bag has to be my favorite dumb mod. It has surprisingly come in handy more often than I care to admit.

The fog housing comes out with 1 Phillips screw. Just remove the housing and shake it around until the bulb comes out. Cheap bulbs suck, this happens all the time with them.

Looks just a hair glitterier than mine that I did around 1900 miles, but not a huge cause for concern. These filters kind of suck to change but the benefit to cartridge is you don't have to work to see what's in them. My '14 tC has the same filter so I'm used to it by now lol.

I watched a youtube university video or three, here's one that was pretty helpful: https://youtu.be/bhGlwKRlAYE

I did replace my fog lights, headlights, and grille in one go - only one tear down for several upgrades. I was a little surprised at just how far you had to tear the front of the truck apart in order to get to everything. The headlight teardown will get you nice access to the fogs as well.

I wish you the best in chasing that dragon. Trying to keep little chips and scrapes covered while driving rocky roads feels like trying to pee on a house-fire.

Such a damn hassle. Too much construction/18 wheelers around these parts. Maybe in another 10yrs I’ll repaint the truck
