I don't think any body discounts Raptors. Before I forget that hood on the Rapto R looks ridiculous. It's not necessary, the super charger does not need the extra room.

I could have gotten a $52k STX for $48k last month. There was a Lariat that had an MSRP of $64k that was listed for just under $60k. Those prices are only back to new 21 F-150 prices.

I demand a new Tacoma. If other expenses are preventing me from buying a new Tacoma, I'm not in the market. Thus the demand is lower.

Unless you own a Toyota dealership , who cares if Tacoma sales are down or not

I don't care I don't own a Toyota dealership or sell Toyotas, I feel far removed from the effect of Tacoma sales numbers.

Found it interesting that so many allocations were being reserved with a deposit this time last year, and there were no 21s on the lot to be sold.

I can’t say they don’t without more information but I remember pre-2020, the lot had a lot of Tacomas and they didn’t really move a lot. C. Florida has its share of Tacomas driving around but Highlanders, Rav4, Corollas are everywhere so I don’t think it’s as big a market for trucks in the immediate area. Now specifically I’m talking about the Orlando area, leave Orlando and the immediate suburbs and go to the coastal areas, I4 bordering towns between Orlando and Tampa, Lake and Seminole county…everybody has a truck.

There are TRD Pros available because the asking price is higher than what people will pay.

They'll even tell you its putin's fault, but it all come down to supply, and demand. If the supply is there, and the funds aren't due to this economy we currently have, these trucks aren't going to sell.

Don't care. Numbers are probably down due to the lack of part availability. They will sell every truck they make. I have mine and I'm happy- that's all that matters to me.

Demand is not down, it’s still in there.

But prices are up beyond the ability to purchase because supplies are dismal. Some of it (supply) for reasons beyond our control and others due to self inflicted cauterization.

That part Is not complicated, but getting the math right is.

It's the lack of supply rasing the price driving down the demand. That leaves trucks sitting on the lot and no incentive to move them.

I think you maybe confusing sales with demand.

Sales maybe down, demand is still there. Its just pent-up demand until a better supply can make the right price-strike deals happen. I'm not seeing many of those happen yet, meaning...

Get outa here with those coupins.

If someone isn't willing to walk in buy a truck or put money down that day. There isn't any demand.

That's why the dealer always asks. What time are coming by today? Then they're like I'll put you down for 12:30 ugh, I'm sitting here in my underwear eating cheese curls.

If you think that $60k Tacomas sitting on lots is a demand issue, you are delusional buddy.

People want the trucks. People don’t want to take out second mortgages for the trucks. It’s really simple dude.
