    I want to drive the MT Bronco; it looks cool.

    I don't think I contributed to this tread. I do have a bit of an affinity for manuals; I grew up driving them. The first car I learned to drive on was my brother's POS 96 5 speed v6 Camaro, but I thought it was a blast at the time. Continued on to 98 Mustang Cobra and a host of other mainly sport orienting standard cars throughout the years in addition to the 97' Tacoma I had. They are more fun to me to drive, and I like the whole "I'm driving the machine, the machine isn't driving me" aspect, but these days, the main reason I buy manuals is because the autos never shift like I would shift. That includes the 3G Tacoma; I hated my 17 AT.

    The one shining light in a sea of shit ATs has been my 19' 8 speed Camry; it drives and shifts exactly how I want it to!

    General all purpose or commuting i like auto. As a toy or to have fun a stick is fine. My current daily is a stick but i barely drive so I dont get burnt out on it that much

    every time i get in an automatic, it seems like the damn Tranny just does what it wants, instead of what i want it to do...
