Just a guess, but if you could give a uniform load across the seat I think it could withstand an 8-10 ton force, excluding the casters, which are only good for around 900 lbs each.

Can I take the casters off? Casters on, less than two ton. Casters off, bring it on!

I think it could be simulated if you took four 4X4's 15 inches in length and put them in the press vertically.

Looking thru my random feeds, I got this sent to me.

I love repurposing everyday items, but this concerns me.

I'm not sure important safety equipment should be reporposed in this manner.Screenshot_20221205-110221.jpg

How often I took a unplanned Nap under the Truck.

I learned real quick do not sit up without looking where I am.

So, I was asked a question this weekend during a gathering and I will pose it here:
"Where is the strangest/scariest/most unique place you have spent the night?"
Let's hear them and then I will tell you my story.

I had to think somewhat .

Back in the eighties on US 20 in Northwestern Indiana between Lake Station and Gary

I needed to camp the weekend it was rainy and miserable . A nice 24 hour restaurant within walking distance.

There was a motel with lots of Truck Parking with a Bar with strippers and lots of rooms called the Interlude we called it the intertube.

It seems working Girls also camped out Seems I was lucky enough to be next door to a Drug deal gone wrong !! I never did hear the whole story . After the cavalry showed up I was moved questioned ..

Sheet Rock does little to slow down bullets ! . That was the most exciting place I stayed

I was playing Truck driver for a friend with trucks.

Strangest: I'll have to think on that.

Scariest: San Rafael Swell. Was camped in a big canyon, oddly all to myself. Lounging by the campfire under a rocky outcropping, when my dog bolts up from a dead sleep and starts growling, hackles all fluffed up. Searched by flashlight for a good while in the direction he was focused on, but nothing was ever found. Area is steeped in native history, and tales of skinwalkers, etc are also pretty common in the area. Not sure I believe in any of it, but when you're all by yourself on native land in such a scenario, its not NOT something you believe in. Ended up moving into the tent a little while later since it felt a little less exposed, and my dog, Draco, didn't let his eyes off the window looking out to the outcropping. Didn't get a lot of sleep that night, but never did find out what had him spooked.

Most Unique, but also pretty scary I guess: Portaledge
