    only the same stuff we've been feeding him, oddly he's not very food motivated....he'll sometimes scarf it all down and other times it will just sit in his bowl all day long. We started mixing dry/wet and he seems to like that a little more, but started that a few days ago so I don't think that's what it was. Might've been though, or maybe something he ate that we didn't see

    he keeps going for the cats food and Harley keeps going for his food lol. I was a little concerned at first but apparently it's no big deal, cats food actually has way more protein in it because cats are obligate carnivores and need a certain amount of meat in their diet every day or they'll literally waste away. So I dunno why Harley is eating the dog food other than being a doofus

    Well, give yourself some credit.

    You guys haven't had him long and it does take quite a bit for dog to get acquainted and establish a routine. The fact that things have gone off without a hitch really is great, but having something come up (like last night) for the first month is totally normal.

    Yeah he's probably past the age of being hyper food motivated. His appetite might grow a bit as he gets more settled/comfortable but you're definitely doing good with taking care of him :D
